In collaboration with Accem and as part of the RITDHE project, Dramblys organised a training workshop on 30 and 31 July aimed at organisations and people who work with immigrants and/or refugees.
In the first part of the event, Dramblys presented RITDHE project and explained that the objective is to develop and implement a model for the inclusion of refugees by improving their employability.
The representatives of Accem, a Spanish non-profit organization specialized in the support of refugees, migrants and people at risk of exclusion, explained the situation of immigration in Spain and the situation of refugees. We learned the different paths followed by people who decide to leave their countries of origin, and we delved into what it means to be a minor in that hard journey they undertake. At the end of the morning session there was an interesting exchange of good practices between participants working in different institutions.
During the afternoon session Dramblys presented the Dignity diaries. We also carried out a simulation activity and recorded some diaries at the same time. The role-playing activity allowed participants to put themselves in the shoes of interviewers and interviewees, so they could experience how hard it is to tell a story first-hand when it comes to sharing personal experiences. Afterwards, the videos were displayed and discussed.

The second day was entirely focused on explaining employability elements for inclusion. We worked with the YES passport to analyze what skills refugees need to develop in order to improve their employability or to become entrepreneurs.
These two days of exchange of professional and learning experiences were very interesting, and all participants had the opportunity to contribute and absorb valuable knowledge.
