Refugee Integration through Dignity Health and Employability RITDHE is a one year programme funded by the European Union, Erasmus+ programme.
9 partner organisations working across 8 countries are collaborating to use a multi layer model where upon they can seek to support the dignity and, emotional well-being and economic prospects of refugees and displaced persons who are in transit or settling in their countries.
RITDHE is designed to offer a wide cross section of employability skills as a first step in the development of employment opportunities. RITDHE uses the E4 employability model which is digitally based, using a series of skills assessment and assignments to help people develop their employability skills. In some cases this will lead to opportunities for digitally based work experience. As a first step in enjoyment the local projects will use the process of creating Dignity Diaries to engage with local refugees and displaced persons to establish communication and rapport.
Over the period of August 2018 to February 2019 partners will create project pilots and will engage directly with its network to work towards the effective and sustainable roll out of the model beyond the formal end of the RITDHE project.
